Have I always been inspired to lead a revolution?  Nope.  Did I feel called to do this? YES!

Here is my story…

To say I was an overachiever in the pursuit of my perfect career is an understatement. I relentlessly pursued the best work experience I could find. I landed college internships with Disney, the San Antonio Spurs franchise, and Bromley Communications, the largest Hispanic advertising firm in the country. Right out of college, I decided on a career in Sales even though I received a degree in Public Relations. Why? Honestly, because is was the highest paying offer I received, oh and the offer included a brand new car and shiny AmEx card to wine and dine my customers.  I hit the jackpot, the Glamorous life, a job that most people dream of. By age 24, I was making a 6 figure salary in the fastest growing industry in the early 2000’s-Medical Device Sales. I was living large and having the time of my life. My resume was filled with sales experience from a blue chip roster of companies: Black and Decker, Johnson and Johnson, and Medtronic. I was really good at this sales gig. I won many awards, expensive gifts, trips, and bonuses. After 12 years of working as a field territory manager and field sales trainer, I decided to take the leap and move into a Corporate America office job as a Sales Trainer. I was ready to take my success “in-house” and move up in the rankings of leadership at one of the top medical device companies in the world.

What happened next changed the trajectory of my life forever. Yep you probably guessed it,

I met my future husband, we got married, and we had a baby. My life was forever changed.

I made the ultimate sacrifice and put all the desires of my heart, at the time, aside to raise my daughter, build a home for our family, and become a devout wife. Was it hard, yes, was it worth it, Absolutely!

Remember I am an overachiever, so I wanted to be the BEST wife and BEST mom I could be. While trying to define my new life, I’ll admit, I felt lost, lonely, and so defined by the previous chapters of my life, that I didn’t even know who I was anymore. I loved my new life as a mom and wife, but something was missing.

While living the life of a SAHM, I started to feel “the itch” to find a little something for me. My overachiever personality kicked in.  I started to meet moms who had “side gigs”.

I heard about Stella and Dot and jumped right in. While successfully building a home based business, I uncovered a passion for coaching women entrepreneurs. Not only that, I learned about the importance of having a tribe of women, who share the same passions, and support each other. Most importantly, YES, you can have it all, if you want it. Especially when you define what “ALL” means and just get after it.  A life of success and happiness, based on your own terms is really what life is all about.

I have created a career in serving other women. I call myself a sales trainer and coach. I call myself a servant leader. I’m helping women RECEIVE their dream life, that’s right, RECEIVE, because it’s yours for the taking! I found my purpose, what I was created to do, and now I am ready to serve you.
